Sylvia Sykes began dancing in 1966, competing in 1970, and teaching in 1979.
She has studied with many of the dance greats, including Frankie Manning, Dean Collins, Maxie Dorf, and Willie Desatoff. Her extensive studies and travels have made her an expert on regional dance styles and she is credited with helping to preserve the Balboa by introducing the dance World Wide.

Skye’s Mom got him dancing when he was only 12 and before long he was performing, competing and teaching while still in his teens.
As a competitor, he has taken first place in the American Lindy Hop Championships, the U.S. Open, the World Lindy Hop Championships, and the International Lindy Hop Championships.

Naomi Uyama discovered lindy hop in her hometown of Washington DC during the late nineties. Over the past decade she has taught workshops all around the world and performed for dance and music legends alike. She has won the champion title at such prestigious competitions as the ALHC, the ULHS, and the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships.

Since his start in 1998 Peter has taught at dance camps from Australia to South Korea to Herrang, Sweden. In addition to teaching he brings with him his skills as a sought after DJ and experienced Master of Ceremonies. He is currently a member of the renowned team the Silver Shadows and the founder of Uptown Swing in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

JAKOB & ANNA
Anna started dancing the Swedish dance Bugg at the age of 9 and for Jakob it was at the age of 10. After competing for several years in, Anna & Jakob teamed up to start competing together at the ages of 16 and 17 respectively. This was also when they attended Herräng Dance Camp for the first time. Since then their passion for Lindy Hop has only increased and they have taught around Europe and won several competitions, notably the pro-showcase division at ILHC 2017. They are inspired by the style of the Savoy ballroom dancers and they are very focused on keeping the authentic style of the Savoy ballroom dancers in both their own dancing and also their teaching.

RICO & CHLOE
After collaborating with various dancers, Rico and Chloe formed a partnership in 2012. Starting with placing in multiple divisions in KLHC, they went on to place in various international competitions such as ILHC, Camp Hollywood, Snowball, and Swing in Paris. Their interests also reach out to the performing side of the dance. Along with yearly participation in the Swing Park Show in Korea and Diga Diga Doo in Thailand, they have formed a swing society called Tuxedo Junction, where they pursue their creative activities in all areas of vintage culture including music, fashion, photography, videography, graphic art and events.
Their efforts in various areas of vintage culture provides much to look forward to. In addition, their vintage clothing brand FROM/Chloehong recreates vintage clothing in their own interpretation, and currently attracts dancers all over the world.
